Eligibility Criteria

    You must have a Master’s degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university with at least 55% marks (for General category). Relaxations apply for OBC, SC, ST, PwD, etc.
  2. Age Limit
    • For JRF, maximum age is 30 years (with age relaxation for reserved categories).
    • For Assistant Professor, there is no upper age limit.
  3. Other Conditions
    • You must satisfy the subject-specific requirements (if applicable).
    • If applying under reserved categories, ensure valid certificates are ready.

How to Apply Online: Step-by-Step Guide

  3. New Registration:
    • Fill in your Name, DOB, Mobile, Email, etc.
    • You will receive an Application Number and Password to login.

    The test comprises Paper 1 (General Aptitude) and Paper 2 (Subject-specific).
    • Paper 1: 50 MCQs, 100 marks
    • Paper 2: 100 MCQs, 200 marks
    • Total duration: 3 hours
    • Marking Scheme: +2 for correct answer, no negative marking
  3. Result, Cut-offs & Certificate
    • NTA will release answer keys, invite objections, finalize them, and then declare results.
    • Cut-off marks (subject-wise & category-wise) will be published.
