NTA will conduct UGC NET 2020 June session in two slots each on multiple days from June 15 – 20, 2020 to determine candidates’ eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professorship. UGC NET 2020 Application Form June 2020 has been released on March 16, 2020 at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The application fee is INR 1000 for General, INR 500 for OBC and EWS categories and INR 250 for SC, ST, PWD, and Transgenders.

As per UGC NET 2020 eligibility, candidates possessing a post-graduate degree with 55% marks are eligible to apply for UGC NET 2020. Candidates should not be more than 30 years in age for JRF but there is no age restriction to apply for the post of Assistant Professor.

Step 1: UGC NET Registration 2020

  • Visit the official website and click on Apply online to fill the registration page.
  • Enter your personal details, email ID and mobile number.

Step 2: Filling UGC NET Application Form June 2020

  • Post-registration, a system generated application number will be sent on the email Id and mobile number.
  • Login again and select your subject, position and preferred exam center.

Step 3: Uploading Scanned Images

  • Now, upload your photograph and signature in the specified format. Check  How to upload photos and documents?

Step 4: Pay UGC NET Application Fee

  • Make application fee payment either through debit card/ credit card/ net banking or Paytm
  • The final step is to download the copies of filled in application form and e-receipt of fee payment for further reference.​

The application fee determined by NTA varies according to the category of the candidate. Candidates can pay the fees in online mode only.

UGC NET 2020 Admit Card

UGC NET Admit Card for June 2020 session will be issued on May 15, 2020. Candidates can download UGC NET 2020 Admit Card only from the official website- ugcnet.nta.nic.in by logging in with their registration number and date of birth. UGC NET 2020 Admit Card will specify the candidate’s name, roll number, category, photograph, signature, allotted exam date, time and center.
